Video is a facsimile 1-1 bronze cast of an Axon 6-bay body camera charging dock. Its tangled cast cable lies to the side. When functioning, the dock also serves as a data conduit; automatically uploading footage to the proprietary online storage software, evidence.com. Programmed into the system of an Axon body camera is a default ‘buffer’ mode, which is activated as soon as the camera is turned on, and lasts up to 30 seconds. During this time the camera captures video but no audio. Should the ‘event’ mode be activated, the silent footage captured directly before will be saved and attached to that event in the camera’s permanent memory.
